March is Fire Prevention Month

March is annually being observed as Fire Prevention Month pursuant to Presidential Proclamation 115-A, signed on November 17, 1966 by former President Ferdinand E. Marcos.

In line with this, the Association of Philippine Volunteer Fire Brigades will launch a motorcade to drum up fire-safety awareness of the public.

The motorcade, which is an annual tradition, will feature the various fire fighting units of the APVFBI member brigades.

Commencing at 0730H from the National Press Club grounds in Intramuros, it will traverse the major thoroughfares of the metro.

MCFRVI will be fielding its lone apparatus, Metroplex Pumper to the said event to help drum up awareness of the public.
